Registration with the Ministry of Finance

Supplier

Starting 6 October 2000, all New and Renewal of registration with the Ministry of Finance to become Supplier to the Government of Malaysia are made online using the ePerolehan system. With the implementation of ePerolehan, the Ministry of Finance has also stipulated that all suppliers who wish to register with the Ministry of Finance must register with ePerolehan.

Starting 1 May 2001, all suppliers can apply for the Bumiputera-status application and Additional Category application online using the ePerolehan system.

Consultant

Starting 1 May 2001, consultants may apply for new registration, renewal and Additional Category with the Ministry of Finance online using the ePerolehan system.

Supplier and Consultant

The Ministry of Finance will not accept registration applications manually (using forms) either by post or by hand. Nevertheless, physical supporting documents still need to be submitted to the Ministry of Finance for verification purposes before an application is approved.

If you wish to apply new registration, renewal and additional category with the Ministry of Finance, please read the registration guide before using ePerolehan.

Please take note that for now, all Additional Category applications and Profile Updates can be performed online for both Supplier and Consultant.

Important

Ensure that you have all the information needed while using the ePerolehan registration system.
Ensure that you fill out all sections and information required.
The time required to fill out all registration information depends on the company type. From our observation, it will take approximately 1 hour to complete one registration. Nevertheless, you will have the opportunity to carry out the registration in stages by saving the information that you have keyed-in.
